EARTH DAY 2010

ATTENTION STUDENTS !

The Natural History Museum of Jamaica- a division of the Institute of Jamaica- invites entries for its annual Earth Day Essay, Poster and Photography Competition. The Competition commemorates Earth Day which is celebrated globally on April 22 each year, and is open to students from grades 7 to 11 in Jamaica’s Secondary Schools. This year the theme is “Biodiversity of Risk” in keeping with the designation of the year 2010 as the International Year of Biodiversity. Prices include trophies, scholarships, cash, books, day passes and more. Entries for all three categories should be submitted by Friday March 12, 2010 to the Education Department of the Natural History Museum of Jamaica, Institute of Jamaica, 10-16 East Street, Kingston.
